I wrestled with this for a while.
Now that I'm home, do I go right back to the beginning of my America trip and start writing about LA? Or seeing as I've done snapshots of all the other cities, should I continue to do the same for Seattle, Rochester and New York?
It may sound a bit silly, but I felt like I didn't want to neglect the last three cities, because they were all wonderful places to visit as well, but just had the unfortunate timing of being visited when I was most busy!
So before I turn back the clock and get back to LA, to retelling my adventures in a little more detail, I thought I would just share a couple of pictures from the last couple of cities on our trip, so you have a taste of what's coming...!
Seattle. A little rough around the edges, but still full of charm. I love your market and that you gave Brad one of the best latte's he had in America (definitely not at Starbucks).
Rochester is a quiet little spot, but was the perfect place to recharge a little bit while Brad attended his conference. The home of the man who created Kodak is really a sight to behold.
Oh and we had some serious ribs.
What can one say about New York? She's a sprawling metropolis, filled with buzz, excitement, things to do, lots of blocks to walk. I found it interesting that I really didn't get to hit up as many eating spots as I wanted to, because our itinerary revolved mostly around fitting in all the typical touristy things.
But I'm really not complaining. I love you.
Love the snapshots, definitely looking forward to more detail ... it all looks very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteAgreed with Keiren....always love your photographic story.
ReplyDeleteNice shots, it paints a picture of the fun you've had! And I am most intrigued by that creamy green thing in the little square glass...
